What is Shaklee?
Shaklee is a 50 year old company that, through independent distributors like myself, sells products in the health and wellness industry. This company was a pioneer in vitamin supplements and continues to do rigorous research on every product they develop before they ever become available for sale. The name Shaklee comes from the founder, Dr. Forrest C. Shaklee Sr.
Why haven't I heard of Shaklee products before?
Shaklee products are not sold in store fronts. They are only available through a distributor. The products are designed for member purchases (although you do NOT have to be a member to purchase items direct from your distributor). The company doesn't spend tons on advertising, they rely more on the distributors & members. In short, the products speak for themselves through the people that actually use them! I can buy similar products cheaper!
I most certainly won't dispute that there are other great companies and products out there. I won't bad-talk another company or their distributors and products. Some of them very well may be equal to the quality of Shaklee's products (although I haven't seen very many of them). I'm sure that you can buy products that claim to do the same, or similar thing as Shaklee products do... often times they are cheaper, although often they just appear that way (read labels, read ingredients, read concentrations... ie: most of the Shaklee cleaning products are HIGHLY concentrated... the process of creating the Shaklee vitamin supplements is far different than many other company's).
